John
Judas vs Peter
Most have used some sort of check in. When we are at the Doctor's office, waiting for our table with those little things that buzz and light up, checking in through some app or social media, we are constantly checking in at different places. A check in shows where we are, where we have been, and where we are going. The one place we often forget to check in is at the Cross. The cross reminds us of our need for a savior, our propensity to wander and that we often fall short. It reveals our motives, the hidden areas of our heart, and the secrets of our soul. A cross check in also reminds us that we are no longer slaves, that we have been purchased, that we are over-comers, and that we have been called sons and daughters. We can’t just check in at the cross occasionally when we celebrate Easter or wear it on a chain around our neck. For us to live the life He created us to live, we must daily check in at the Cross. Join us as we check in.
